What is the difference between stainless steel BA pipe and ordinary steel pipe?

Stainless steel BA pipes have a long service life. According to the analysis of the application of stainless steel abroad, the service life of stainless steel BA pipes can reach 100 years, at least 70 years, which is as long as the life of the building.
The second is corrosion resistance. One of the significant advantages of stainless steel BA pipes is its good corrosion resistance, which is the best among all kinds of pipe fittings.
Because stainless steel BA pipes can react with oxidants to passivate, a tough and dense chromium-rich oxide protective film Dr2O3 is formed on the surface, which effectively prevents further oxidation reactions. Other metal pipes, such as galvanized water pipes and copper pipes, have very low passivation ability. This is the key reason why the corrosion resistance of galvanized copper pipes is far inferior to that of stainless steel pipe fittings.
Stainless steel will not be corroded as carbon steel, and no maintenance coating is required during use; there is no restriction on the chemical composition of water when using stainless steel water pipes, because stainless steel has good corrosion resistance in water of various oxygen content, temperature, PH and strength; stainless steel water pipes can withstand very high flow rates, even if the flow rate is greater than 40 meters/second, it still maintains a low corrosion depth, not exceeding 0.003mm/year, which is particularly suitable for high-rise water supply. Stainless steel generally does not suffer from partial corrosion, and the fluoride content that stainless steel ba pipes can withstand is up to 200ppm.

GNEE is an enterprise dedicated to the research and development and production of precision stainless steel bright tubes, clean pipes (BA, EP) and special alloy pipe series products. It can provide precision steel tubes with various materials and sizes such as austenite, duplex steel, nickel-based alloys according to national standards GB, ASTM, JIS, DIN, European standards EN and other standards.
