1.4028 is a martensitic stainless steel with good machining properties and high corrosion resistance and polishing properties after heat treatment, as well as high strength and wear resistance. This material is particularly suitable for manufacturing plastic molds that bear high loads, high wear resistance, and are subject to corrosive media.

Physical properties of 1.4028
The density is 7.76 kg/dm³ and the melting point is 1365℃. At different temperatures, its physical properties such as thermal conductivity and specific heat capacity are also different. In terms of mechanical properties, 1.4028 has different tensile strength and elongation in different delivery states.
In addition, the heat treatment process of 1.4028 includes heating to 800~900℃ and then air cooling or slow cooling to obtain the required hardness and mechanical properties. 1.4028 is widely used in the manufacture of high-strength parts, wear parts that bear high-intensity pressure loads and work under corrosive media conditions, such as tools and springs working below 300℃, shafts, bolts, valves, bearings, etc. working below 400℃.
