316L stainless steel pipe

316 L is a low carbon type of 316 stainless steel. There is no carbide precipitation on the grain boundaries, that is, there is no sensitization. Therefore, this material is widely used in weldments thicker than 0.2 inches. 316 L steel is widely used in the chemical industry due to its good corrosion resistance. It is also a derivative of 18-8 austenitic stainless steel (containing 2-3% Mo) and consists of 2-3% Mo. In addition to 316 L, many different steel types can be derived. For example, by adding a small amount of Ti, 316 Ti can be derived, by adding a small amount of N, 316 N can be derived, and by increasing the Ni and Mo content, 317 can be derived. L.
