Hastelloy C-2000, also known as Alloy C-2000, UNS No. N06200, W. Nr. 2.4675, is a copper-containing Ni-Cr-Mo alloy that has excellent resistance to a wide range of corrosive chemicals, including sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid and other aggressive media.
Hastelloy Alloy C-2000 Applications
Chemical Processing Equipment: Used in the manufacture of reactors, heat exchangers and piping systems for handling corrosive chemicals such as sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid and phosphoric acid.
Pollution Control: The alloy is used in flue gas desulfurization systems, scrubbers and other pollution control equipment, where resistance to corrosive environments is critical.
Pulp and Paper Industry: The alloy is used in the manufacture of equipment that handles corrosive chemicals during pulp and paper production.
