Cold processing: The strength and hardness of the material can be improved by cold rolling, cold drawing and other methods, but attention should be paid to controlling the deformation to avoid defects such as cracks. After cold processing, appropriate annealing treatment can be carried out to eliminate processing stress and restore the plasticity of the material.
Hot processing: Forging, hot rolling and other operations are carried out within an appropriate temperature range. Appropriate heat treatment should be carried out after hot processing to obtain a uniform structure and good performance.

Q.Is 1.4401 the same as 316?
