Implementation standard: ASTM A240
What is the hardness of 310S stainless steel?
Hardness range: The hardness of 310S stainless steel is usually measured using different standards. Its Rockwell hardness (HRC) ranges from 25 to 351, while its Brinell hardness (HB) does not exceed 187.
Advantages of 310S stainless steel plate
As a type of austenitic stainless steel, 310S contains higher levels of chromium and nickel, which makes it more corrosion-resistant than the common stainless steel SUS304 and more heat-resistant than SUS309S.
Applications of stainless steel 310S sheet
Used to manufacture boiler combustion chambers, high-temperature resistant furnace tubes, heat-resistant steel furnace cores, automobile exhaust parts, and heat exchanger parts, etc.
